Because We Take Your Health Seriously

We want to acknowledge and reiterate our continued awareness about the current spread of the COVID-19.  It is of high priority to keep our community healthy and free from harm, while continuing to provide the best healthcare services.

At your next visit, you may notice a few changes as we have updated our protocols to contain the spread of COVID-19. Our office is following all recommended guidance from public health authorities, best practices for hygiene, infection control and medical professional team health, including:

  • Pre-screening patients via phone.

  • Screening of all patients and staff upon entry into the office.

  • Restricting access to only patients and one (1) necessary caregiver.

  • Spreading out appointments to avoid patient overlap.

  • Everyone must be wearing a face mask to enter our office.

We continue the following universal sanitary protocol, but have increased stricter methods:

  • Complete disinfecting wipe-down of operatories between patients.

  • Daily professional cleaning services at the end of day.

  • Washing hands frequently.

  • Hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes are available for use throughout the office.

  • Staff members will stay home if they are feeling unwell.

  • Remaining up to date with the current CDC recommendations, and responding accordingly.

Please join our clear and intentional effort and stay vigilant yourselves, insofar as cleanliness and sanitation is concerned by doing the following:

  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water.

  • When you or your loved ones are sick, please stay home.

  • Avoid touching your face, particularly your eyes or nose, with your hands.

We strongly encourage you to cancel your appointment if you have any flu-like symptoms, fever or difficulty breathing.

You may reach us by phone at (415) 221-7056. Together we will do our very best to take care of each other during this time.

Warmly,

San Francisco Vein & Vascular Institute
